Wednesday Family Dinner
(reoccurring) Wednesday Family Dinners are held at The Buffalo Grille, 3116 Bissonnet just east of Buffalo Speedway, around 6:30 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month. We'll meet in the covered patio room through the doorway on the right of the order and pickup counter. There are no agendas, tasks or committee meetings. This monthly event is meant to be an informal evening for newcomers and longtime members alike to gather with our families and meet, mingle, socialize with each other and share stories. Pearland Family Dinner
A Pearland monthly dinner group will meet one Wednesday a month at 6:00 pm at Jake's Grill. Please contact hglp@hglp.org for more information. This will be a time to make new friends and have a great time and discuss the Pearland playgroup. Hope to see you there! (You don't have to live in Pearland to attend)

Back-to-School Beach Party
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm This is a Galveston County park. In addition to its 10 acres of sparkling beaches, the park offers a large beach pavilion with restrooms, showers, a snack bar, beach chair/umbrella rentals, picnic tables, plenty of parking and full wheelchair accessibility. There is an admission fee of $8.00 per car and $16 for buses/RV's to park. Alcohol is permitted. Glass containers are banned. There is no charge to enter the beach. The number for the park is 409-737-1206. THINGS TO BRING: Umbrella if you have one, blanket, towels, chairs, sandals or old sneakers, hats, beach toys and games; sunblock, what ever you want to eat and drink (alcohol is OK in plastic on this beach). Be sure to bring lots of water.
LOCATION:
Galveston Pocket Park No. 3 DIRECTIONS: Take I-45 South to Galveston. Exit 61st Street. Follow 61st until it "dead ends" into Seawall Blvd. Turn Right on Seawall. Seawall becomes FM 3005. Just follow the shoreline about 11 miles to the park. It will be on your left at FM 3005 and 11-Mile Road. For more information email hglp@hglp.org
